Your new role…
We are seeking an experienced Lead Producer - Live Operations to join our team developing a high-quality free-to-play mobile game based on a well-known WB IP. The ideal candidate has a strong background in game development, leadership skills, and a proven track record of operating successful mobile games. As a Lead Producer - Live Operations you will be responsible for overseeing the many aspects of production of our live mobile games, including seasons, events, offers, live issue triage, and live game release management. You will work on developing production structures & processes to support cross-functional groups, including game designers, artists, programmers, and marketing teams, to ensure that our games meet high-quality standards and deliver an exceptional player experience. You will lead a team of live producers to ensure the day-to-day game live operations are delivered on time and at quality.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Work with the Executive Producer to lead the production plan and the execution strategy of our mobile strategy games for live mobile titles
Manage and mentor a team of Producers supporting live game operations.
Drive live operations outcomes by leading dedicated LiveOps and release management pods to ensure game stability, responsiveness, and smooth deployments.
Plan and oversee live updates, including scheduled content releases, feature updates, bugfix patches, and backend improvements.
Manage the live game’s incident response process, coordinating cross-functional teams to address emergent issues, outages, and critical bugs with urgency and precision.
Proactively monitor live game health using telemetry, player feedback, and internal tools, identifying trends and potential risks before they escalate.
Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, working with Engineering, QA, Product, and Design to align on live priorities and mitigate risks.
Define and improve live service best practices, ensuring the team operates with efficiency, clarity, and agility.
Work with customer support and community teams to triage live player issues, track recurring pain points, and advocate for fixes.
Lead live issue retrospectives, driving continuous improvement in incident management, release quality, and deployment efficiency.
In this role, early requirements may not always be well-defined, and depending on various factors, they may change frequently. The ideal candidate will maintain flexibility during uncertainty and be able to drive teams through it and into successful and clear action plans.
Requirements…
7+ years of experience in video game production, with at least 3+ years working in a live operations capacity.
Proven track record of managing live service games, particularly in mobile free-to-play (F2P) environments.
Broad understanding of live game infrastructure, including client-server interactions, patching pipelines, and rollback strategies.
Experience working with JIRA, live monitoring tools (e.g., Looker, Datadog), and incident tracking systems.
Strong familiarity with release management, live testing, and risk assessment for live games.
Flexible project management style and adaptable to changing circumstances in order to adjust the project approach to evolving requirements.
Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Exceptional communication and crisis management skills, with the ability to prioritize and resolve high-pressure live issues quickly and effectively.
Experience working closely with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to align priorities and ship stable updates.
Knowledge of A/B testing, telemetry analysis, and data-driven decision-making for live operations.
Able to cast spells at 6th level or higher. Must be able to hold own against powerful agents of chaos.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $127,400.00 - $236,600.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
