Your Mission

Work with engineers on one of Activision's award-winning franchises, while working on design, implementation, and debugging software in C++, Python and other languages that drive the next generation of game development.

What you bring to the table

The video game industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. As such, the duties and responsibilities of this role may be changed as directed by the Company at any time to promote and support our business and relationships with industry partners. Therefore, this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:  

• Working on tools and infrastructure that is used for the building and automated testing of Call of Duty.
• Interact with employees from the studios, to help solve issues that they are having an implement feature request.
• Will have responsibility for end-to-end maintenance of certain parts of our tools/infrastructure codebase.

Player Profile  

Minimum requirements:

Experience  

• 1+ year of experience programming with Python
• Experience working in the service of AAA game titles

Knowledge & Skills  

• Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, HTTP, HTML, Perforce, JIRA

Key attributes

• Fast learner; eager to learn new systems/skill/methodologies
• Must be a good communicator and work well as part of a team
• Good work ethics

Your Platform

Activision Central Tech works to support our development studios and their titles. Comprised of seven main teams, we have many specialties including big data, privacy and security, motion capture and animation pipeline technologies, graphics, build and infrastructure for studio development and data centers, optimization, systems programming and online services including matchmaking and networking.
