Job Description

The Business Development Manager, Gaming, Google Cloud role involves building executive relationships with enterprise customers to influence technology and business decisions. Responsibilities include leading and managing entire business cycles, presenting multi-year agreements to C-level executives, and understanding associated legal and business risks. The role focuses on engaging with CEOs and boards in Greater China, aiming to accelerate customer digital transformation through Google solutions. Account management, including solution delivery aspects, is also part of the responsibilities. This requires a deep understanding of the gaming industry and the ability to navigate complex commercial and legal negotiations.
Must have:
  • 10+ years enterprise B2B software experience
  • C-level engagement & account management
  • Complex negotiation experience
  • Lead business engagements & build executive relationships
  • Solution delivery responsibility
Good to have:
  • Gaming industry knowledge
  • Experience working with sales engineers and customer technical leads

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in goal carrying software promotion and account management at an enterprise business-to-business software company promoting enterprise accounts.
  • Experience engaging with accounts in promoting a portfolio of products at C-level.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with complex commercial and legal negotiations working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Knowledge of the industry, specific to the prospects/customers being covered.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with the customer base to help influence their technology and business decisions. Add value and be a trusted advisor by bringing insights and ideas with follow through execution.
  • Lead and manage entire business cycles (e.g., presenting multi-year agreements to C-level executives), discussing terms and understanding associated legal and business risks.
  • Lead business engagements with Chief Executive Officers and boards of customers across Greater China, with a transformational industry goal and a differentiated Google solution partnership to accelerate customer digital transformation.
  • Be responsible for the account with solution delivery aspects.
