Role: Candidate Partnerships Coordinator 

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job type: Full time, permanent – hybrid

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home and our office.


Typically, employees are expected to work 2 days in the office per week.

As a Candidate Partnerships Coordinator , this is what you’ll be doing:

QS Student Recruitment events is hiring 2 new Candidate Partnerships Coordinators to join their team. Working on the QS Connect product, this position plays a vital role in matching highly qualified prospective students with Universities that fit their academic profile and career ambitions! 


This varied role requires exceptional communication skills as well as an ability to problem solve and innovate as the product continues to make great strides towards automation. 

 

Role responsibilities 

Candidate Assessment and Support  

  • Review a high volume of Resumes/CVs and profiles of candidates who have registered for our international events, assessing their suitability against specifications for a range of international universities.  
  • Provide specialist MBA and Masters consulting services to candidates, including advice on programs, specialization opportunities, rankings, and entry requirements.  
  • Use LinkedIn to run background and suitability checks, supplementing existing information if necessary.  
  • Contact candidates via email campaigns and phone calls to understand their MBA and Masters requirements.  
  • Draft candidate shortlists according to the entry criteria of each school.  
  • Follow up with candidates and encourage them to book interviews with Business Schools, ensuring a high conversion rate.  

Relationship Management and Collaboration  

  • Act as a client relationship manager for an assigned number of international business schools and MBA programs, maintaining constant contact, customer service, and relationship building.  
  • Advise and assist business schools, clients, and other stakeholders with the Connect selections process and system.  
  • Obtain and update candidate selection criteria from business schools to develop in-depth program knowledge.  
  • Attend Connect events globally, as required.  

Process Improvement, Innovation, and Additional Duties  

  • Process a high volume of registrations within a time-sensitive environment.  
  • Offer ideas and suggestions on ways to innovate and improve the Connect product from both back and front-end processes.  
  • Any other duties that come from your manager and fall under the scope of your department.

  • Experience in customer service.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Familiarity with higher education sector (Desired)
