Job Summary
Job Description
Smilegate RPG seeks a contract Character Rigger for its mobile game, Lost Ark Mobile. The role involves rigging characters and various objects for a next-generation multi-platform MMORPG. Responsibilities include utilizing 3ds Max (bone, biped, skin), Unreal Engine 4/5 for skeletal asset maintenance and data management. A strong understanding of 3D modeling, animation, and human/animal anatomy is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate passion for game development, excellent communication skills, and a vision for technical animation in Unreal Engine 5. New applicants may face a post-application skills test. A portfolio is mandatory.
Must have:
- 3ds Max rigging skills (bone, biped, skin)
- Unreal Engine 4/5 experience
- Understanding of 3D modeling & animation
- Knowledge of anatomy (human/animal)
Good to have:
- Unreal Engine 5 technical animation vision
- Passion for game development
- Excellent communication skills

자격요건
- 게임 캐릭터의 3D 모델링 및 애니메이션에 대한 기본적인 이해도가 있으신 분
- 인체, 동물 등의 자연스러운 근골격계 해부학의 이해도가 있으신 분
* 신입 지원자의 경우 서류전형 이후 별도의 과제 테스트 전형이 있을 수 있습니다.
필요역량
- 3ds max의 bone, biped, skin 등 리깅에 필요한 툴 활용이 가능하신 분
- 언리얼 엔진 4 혹은 5의 기본적인 툴 사용 및 스켈레탈 어셋 유지 보수와 데이터 관리가 가능하신 분
우대사항
- 게임 개발에 대한 열정과 완성에 대한 열망이 있으신 분
- 밝고 긍정적인 사고를 바탕으로 업무에 대한 원활한 커뮤니케이션이 가능하신 분
- 언리얼 엔진 5의 테크니컬 에니메이션에 대한 비전을 가지고 있으신 분
