Escapist Games is seeking talented Coders, Artists, and Tech Artists to work on their product, Star Chart. The ideal candidates will possess brilliant minds, great attitudes, and a passion for games and new technology, with a drive to innovate and excel. The role emphasizes personality and potential over exact skill sets. Successful candidates will contribute to shipping great content on new technology to millions of people. The company values a team-oriented approach where the product and team come before ego, requiring individuals who are humble geniuses, willing to do whatever is necessary to improve the product, and not afraid of overtime or working with various tech and hardware.
Must have:
- Passion for games and new tech
- Desire to innovate and excel
- Team-first attitude
- Willingness to do whatever is required for product improvement
- Adaptability to different tech and hardware
Good to have:
- Experience with Unity / Unreal
- C#, C++ & Objective C
- Rendering and optimisation
- Server and web code
- Tools and pipelines
- Tech art / 3D art / design skills
- Dynamically generated content
- 3D models of celestial bodies
- UI mockups for data-rich views
