About the job:
As a Customer Solutions Engineer at Google's gTech Ads team, you'll be responsible for providing technical consulting services and guidance to clients on Google's APIs and technology platforms. You'll work with customers to understand their business challenges and develop innovative technical solutions that lead to more advertising business. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
  • Experience coding with programming languages (Java, C/C++, Python)
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting and managing partners/customers
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to adapt and deliver messages to technical audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and communication skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or in a related technical field.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt and deliver messages to the technical level of the audience, and present technical materials to large groups.
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting services and guidance around Google Application programming interfaces (API) and technology platforms to help clients develop cutting-edge applications across Ads and products.
  • Work with customers to understand underlying business challenges. Cultivate relationships with Business team and customers, identify and develop innovative technical solutions that lead to more advertising business.
  • Work across Business, Support and Product teams to provide innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
  • Propose, design, create and present prototypes, demos and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of audiences, from Engineers to Marketing professionals.
  • Leverage Google’s technology platforms and big data analytics systems to achieve goals.
