About the job:
The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes use technology to connect with customers, employees and partners. Responsibilities include building and maintaining executive relationships with customers, developing and executing strategic account plans, assisting customers in identifying use cases, working with Google accounts and technical teams to develop pipelines, and providing expertise for Go-To-Market efforts.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience selling data analytics or data management technologies to clients
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements
  • Experience in working with engineers and customer technical leads
  • Ability to plan and execute a start-to-finish business pitch
Good to have:
  • Experience working with internal/external teams, including Account teams, Technical leads, Procurement, and Legal
  • Experience in prioritizing and planning business activity and transformation strategies
  • Knowledge of trends, products, and solutions in Cloud and Data and Analytics
  • Experience with data analytics technology stack

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience selling data analytics or data management technologies to clients.
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience in working with engineers and customer technical leads to build business cases and accompanying plans for implementation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with internal/external teams, including Account teams, Technical leads, Procurement, and Legal, to inventory existing software estate, build cases for transformation with implementation plans, and close agreements.
  • Experience in prioritizing and planning business activity and transformation strategies within complex business cycles aligned to Data and Analytics.
  • Knowledge of trends, products, and solutions in Cloud and Data and Analytics (BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Pub/Sub), including experience with data analytics technology stack.
  • Ability to plan and execute a start-to-finish business pitch, and customer transformation strategy aligned to Data and Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the data analytics subject matter expert, influencing long-term strategic direction.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key industries, and focus on building accounts.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud, Data and Analytics solutions, articulating key solution differentiators and measurable business impacts.
  • Work with Google accounts and technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, provide expertise, and develop Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts with Google Cloud Platform partners.
