Job Description

This 6-month full-time internship at Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg offers a crucial role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will focus on streamlining product launch processes. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) data, collaborating with cross-functional teams for system transitions and optimizations, leveraging data insights for process improvements and strategic decision-making, contributing to IT tool and dashboard development, solving complex challenges, and creating data visualizations. The ideal candidate possesses proficiency in Excel, SQL, PLM, ERP, MES, and analytics tools, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Must have:

BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or IT
Proficiency in Excel, SQL
Strong foundation in PLM, ERP, MES
Data analysis and visualization skills
Problem-solving and teamwork abilities

Good to have:

Experience with dashboard creation
Experience with data engineering tools

What You’ll Bring

Education: Currently pursuing a BSc. or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or IT.
