In this role, you will evaluate and improve Google's Shopping products. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and Product Managers (PMs) on problems. You will bring investigative and statistical methods to the tests of measuring quality, improving consumer products, and understanding the behavior of end-users, merchants, and partners. You will develop, organize and launch experiments and projects that across Engineering, Product Management, Business, and Marketing.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.Responsibilities
- Work with data sets, solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems. Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables and presentations.
- Build and prototype analysis pipelines to provide insights. Develop understanding of Google data structures and metrics, advocate for changes for product development and business activity.
- Interact cross-functionally with leaders and teams, and work with Engineers and Product Managers to identify opportunities for design and assess improvements for Google products.
- Make business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) with presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
- Research and develop analysis, forecasting and optimization methods to improve the quality of Google's user facing products.
