Job Description

The DevOps Software Engineer at Paytm will guide teams towards continuous integration and continuous deployment. Responsibilities include building, deploying, and operating infrastructure and applications on AWS (Azure/Google Cloud). The role requires extensive knowledge of automation tools like Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and more. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, understands server and development levels, and is proactive in preventing application emergencies. This role requires hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, ELK stack, and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana. Experience with Weblogic, Tomcat, HA Proxy, and Nginx is beneficial.

Must have:

CI/CD pipeline expertise
AWS cloud experience
ELK stack proficiency
Automation tools knowledge (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
Scripting (Shell/Bash/Python)
Linux OS configuration

Good to have:

Weblogic/Tomcat experience
HA Proxy/Nginx knowledge
Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience with other cloud providers (Azure/Google Cloud)

About the role: Responsible for guiding teams towards continuous integration and continuous deployment; hence, he must have extensive knowledge of the automation tools and their application like Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet Enterprise, Nagios, Chef, and Ansible. The DevOps tackles our organization’s toughest technical problems and drives technical excellence at all levels, working with senior management to support the execution of the organization’s vision. The DevOps / Sr. Devops/ Lead Devops is a person who cares deeply about the technical side of operations and makes sure that everything is running smoothly for our applications. The ideal candidate understands technology deeply at both the server level and at the development level, comprehends the gaps, and is excited about filling those gaps and taking proactive steps to prevent application emergencies from ever happening.

Expectations/ Requirements

· Educational qualification: BE/ B.tech/ MCA/ M.tech.

· 1 years of overall experience.

· 1+ years of relevant experience in Devops.

· Linux OS/application installation and configuration.

· Shell/Bash/Python scripting.

· Experience in building, deploying and operating infrastructure and applications.

· Cloud experience: AWS (Azure/Google Cloud).

· Candidate Must have hands on exp on technologies like:

· Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

· Git, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipe, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic search, LogStash, Kibana (ELK).

· Good to have knowledge of Weblogic, Tomcat servers, HA Proxy, Ngnix, Apache.

· Familiar with monitoring tools like Prometheus, AppDynamics, Graphana, Datadog, Zabbix.

· Understand the working atmosphere of SLA based environment.

· Must posses a good communication skills.
