Job Description

The Digital Marketing Strategist role within Google's gTech Ads, GCS team in Germany requires fluency in German and English. Responsibilities include collaborating with account managers to identify optimal client support strategies, leveraging market knowledge to develop solutions for client challenges, analyzing data to generate actionable insights, and implementing and optimizing ad campaigns to meet client goals. This role involves expertise in Google's product suite and requires a data-driven approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in digital marketing or advertising, with a proven ability to manage and measure campaigns.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years digital marketing/advertising experience
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Campaign implementation and measurement expertise
  • Data-driven approach to problem-solving
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Google Ads
  • Understanding of Media Landscape
  • Cross-functional team collaboration skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Google’s advertising solutions or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  • Understanding of Media landscape.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate a data-driven approach when proposing solutions, providing actionable insights to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Trained on Digital Marketing Strategist, Customer Success Acceleration to become an expert in Google’s product suite, and in the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers/Account Executives to determine the optimal support for the client portfolio.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of the market, industry, products, and tools in preparation to offer solutions for clients' business challenges.
  • Analyze data and trends in order to create meaningful insights for clients.
  • Implement solutions, track performance, and optimize against advertiser goals.
