Job Description

Smilegate Entertainment is seeking an experienced Effects Artist to join their team. The role involves creating and managing visual effects for their game IPs, contributing to the development of global cultural content. Responsibilities include designing and implementing visual effects used throughout the game, ensuring they align with artistic vision and technical requirements. The ideal candidate possesses at least 5 years of experience using Unity, proficiency in 3DS Max, Photoshop, and Shader Graph. A strong understanding of optimization techniques and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with cutscenes and video production is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Smilegate campus in Seongnam, South Korea.

Must have:

5+ years experience in game effects
Unity engine expertise (real-time & casual games)
Proficiency in 3DS Max, Photoshop, Shader Graph
Strong artistic sense, timing, and tool application
Optimization knowledge and positive attitude

Good to have:

Effect R&D experience
Cutscene/video production experience

자격요건

- 경력 5년 이상 - Unity 엔진을 활용한 반실사 및 캐주얼 게임 이펙트 제작 경험 있으신 분 - 아트웍, 타이밍, 툴 응용력 등 이펙트 제작에 필요한 기본적 감각을 갖추신 분 - 게임 이펙트 제작에 대한 열정과 긍정적 마인드를 가지신 분 - 최적화에 대한 이해도가 있으신 분

필요역량

- Unity, 3DS Max, Photoshop 기능과 3D 작업 프로세스를 숙지한 분 - Shader Graph 제작 및 운용, 관리 가능하신 분 - 협업을 위한 원활한 사고 및 커뮤니케이션이 가능하신 분

우대사항

- 이펙트 관련 기술 R&D 능력이 있으신 분 - 컷씬, 영상 연출 경험이 있으신 분
