Job Description

As an Enterprise Account Manager, Telecommunications, Google Cloud, you will be responsible for driving the transformation of one of Google Cloud's telecommunications customers and the telecommunications industry overall. You will leverage Google Cloud's leadership in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies to empower our clients and its customers to innovate and grow. You will influence the future of connectivity and digital experiences worldwide. Key responsibilities include building executive relationships with a large telecommunications customer, managing the entire sales cycle, leading account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, identifying the customer’s technology footprint, growth plans, and business drivers, technology strategy, and engaged landscape, driving business development, forecasting accurately, and achieving goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of technical sales experience in the technology industry
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level
  • Experience leading technical sales and account management for organizations
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently
Good to have:
  • Experience promoting Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software
  • Experience with large commercial and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business teams in large enterprises
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customers technical leads to inventory existing software estates and define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations
  • Ability to exhibit positivity in a board-room atmosphere while providing advice to executive management
  • Ability to communicate in Finnish fluently

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of technical sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or data analytics products and platforms.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Experience leading technical sales and account management for organizations.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English with international stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software with experience working towards business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with a large telecommunications customer and Influence long-term direction and serve as a business partner.
  • Manage the entire cycle, often presenting to C-level executives and public sector customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, work collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners in order to optimize business results.
  • Identify the customer’s technology footprint, growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy, and engaged landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
