Google is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program Manager to manage EHS programs in their warehousing, logistics, and automation spaces. The role involves ensuring a safe and compliant workplace, focusing on continuous improvement. Responsibilities include monitoring program performance, implementing corrective actions, coordinating assurance activities, managing compliance programs, auditing vendors, participating in engineering solutions to reduce risk, reviewing incident investigations, and partnering with vendors to drive safety improvements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, one year of program management experience, EHS experience, and familiarity with European directives and regulations. Experience in warehousing, transportation, or logistics is preferred.

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in Program Management.
- Experience in the Environment, Health and Safety field.
- Experience in workplace safety and environmental regulations with European directives and regulations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certificate from Board of Certified Safety Professionals (e.g., Middelbare/Hogere Veiligheidskunde, NEBOSH).
- Experience in warehousing, transportation or related logistics industry.
- Experience in supporting projects in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
- Ability to coach, influence and advise leadership and vendor stakeholders to achieve positive EHS outcomes.
- Excellent collaboration, project management, and communication skills.

- Manage Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs in Google’s warehousing/logistics/automation spaces to ensure a safe and compliant workplace with the focus on improvement. Monitor and track program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans.
- Coordinate and participate in assurance activities. Manage the compliance program and audit vendors for compliance to legal and Google EHS requirements.
- Participate in engineering and innovation solutions to reduce risk in the supply chain operations.
- Review incident investigations submitted by vendors and communicate learning/corrective and preventive actions across the business to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with Supply Chain vendors to drive safety improvements and ensure their EHS performance meets the required standards and meet with stakeholders to communicate on performance and requirements.
