The Executive Producer will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Wizards of the Coast's digital products. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to define and implement a shared technology vision across AAA video games, mobile apps, and websites. This role requires managing budgets, project plans, and resources for complex production pipelines, implementing new methodologies, fostering positive relationships with internal and external partners, and leading and mentoring a diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in video game production or shared technology, with at least 10+ years of experience, including completing at least two full development cycles in a similar role for a shipped AAA game.

As we expand our Central Technology team, we are seeking an exceptionally dedicated Executive Producer to join us. This is a versatile opportunity to play a pivotal role in crafting our innovative technology initiatives and shaping the future of our digital products. The Executive Producer will work with the Hasbro CTO, Digital, to ensure all digitally focused projects are supported by the development of fundamental shared technology.

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Collaborate with peers and product development teams to define and implement the vision for shared technology across AAA video games, mobile applications, and brand websites.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, schedule, scope, and resource forecast for multiple teams working on complex production pipelines.
  • Manage the central technology team's budget, including maintaining a detailed cost center and an inventory of licensed tools and technology for annual forecasting.
  • Create and successfully implement new methodologies and approaches in program management, ensuring clear communication of team priorities and visibility of efforts.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal teams and external partners by driving shared success and finding creative solutions to ambitious challenges.
  • Recruit, guide, encourage, and nurture a diverse team of professionals, ensuring they become leaders in their craft and advance in their careers. Offer direct leadership to the Production and Engineering teams.

 

What You'll Bring:

 

  • A proven track record in video game production or shared technology teams supporting game development, with at least 10+ years of experience.
  • Completion of at least two full development cycles in an Executive Producer or similar role for a shipped AAA game or game-related technology team.
  • Outstanding communication skills to lead projects and empower teams in fast-paced and complex environments.
  • Expertise in rapidly iterating ideas, absorbing feedback, and distilling them to fuel even better concepts.
  • Strong conflict management skills with a demonstrated ability to mediate and resolve risks and roadblocks.
  • Proficiency in various project management techniques within an internal development setting, along with deep experience in building and maintaining schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across product development and management teams.
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and a solid history of multitasking.
  • Ability to lead in a hybrid in-office/work-from-home environment, successfully navigating associated challenges.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with development partners.

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $164,200
  • Pay Range End: $304,900
