We are looking for a Global Compensation Partner to join our People & Places team, reporting to the director of Global Compensation. In this remote role, you will be part of a fun and collaborative team that builds and delivers market-competitive compensation programs. You will lead a variety of projects, including career ladders, annual and semi-annual compensation reviews, pay program designs and compliance, annual salary structure movement, and implementation of new programs. You will work with global business leaders as a subject matter expert and advise them on compensation reviews. 

You’re the ideal candidate if you can take an idea or concept and create multiple solutions, collaborate with all levels of leadership and teams, and love turning data into a compelling story. You have implemented and managed new programs, including career ladder, annual and semi-annual compensation review, pay program designs and compliance, and annual salary structure movement.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders and HR business partners, providing consultation and creative solutions to address total compensation challenges in the business
  • Assist in the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of strategies, plans, programs, and procedures designed to provide for equitable and competitive employee compensation
  • Lead a variety of projects, including career ladders, annual and semi-annual compensation review, pay program designs and compliance, annual salary structure movement, and implementation of new programs
  • Lead Oracle People Hub compensation system enhancements in partnership with HRIS on Total Rewards Statements, etc.
  • Develop metrics and reports to assess the utilization of our pay programs against market and company goals
  • Research, analyze, and provide insights across geographic locations on future improvements, anticipating upcoming compensation concerns
  • Support the evaluation of jobs, the creation of job families, documentation of job descriptions and salary survey job-matching
  • Evaluate and guide recruiters and HR business partners on employment changes (i.e., salary, title, commission changes), ensuring that all necessary information is received, approved and entered into HRIS as appropriate. 
  • Lead the effort to create, publish and educate management, HR business partners and recruiters on compensation pay practices and trends

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of related compensation experience; high-technology company experience
  • Solid experience in compensation or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices
  • Experience with and stock plan administration solutions, IPO readiness and Equity Management (Pre and post-IPO)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including look-up tables, pivot tables, and the like; plus knowledge of HRIS report writing
  • Experience with HRIS (Oracle People Hub) enhancing and/or implementing compensation systems and reporting tools 
  • Detailed-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to detect inconsistencies in data
  • Excellent written (able to compose and edit internal communications) and verbal communication (can work across functions and with various levels of management) is required
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to be a change agent and influence progress
  • Self-starter and analytically, who can effectively work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Cross-team coordination, time management, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in business administration or related degree

What success looks like:

After six months, you will…

  • Be a subject matter expert and serve as the main point of contact on all things compensation to our business leaders and HR business partners
  • Support the mid-year compensation review cycle
  • Complete G&A function career ladders
  • Partner with business leaders and HR business partners on compensation 101 training
  • Standardize two to three compensation pay programs and/or processes
  • Create models and insights to measure corporate goals

After about a year, you will…

  • Drive all compensation projects
  • Implement the Total Rewards Statement for a geographic region
  • Complete the career ladders project
  • Review and post all salary ranges

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position based in Washington is $130,700 - $180,000 plus corporate bonus.
