Job Description

As an HR Operations Payroll Specialist at Tesla in Oslo, you'll be responsible for timely payroll data collation and transmission to external vendors. Key duties include maintaining employee payroll records, processing payments (advance, termination, etc.), coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, managing garnishments, and generating payroll/HR reports. You'll also manage relationships with country payroll partners, recommending and implementing process improvements. The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are crucial for interacting with all levels of the business.

Must have:

Payroll data collation and transmission
Maintaining employee payroll records
Processing payments
Stakeholder coordination
Report generation
Process improvement recommendations
Experience in payroll input preparation
BA/BS degree or equivalent

Good to have:

Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing systems
Norwegian and English language proficiency

What You’ll Do

Responsible for timely collating of payroll relevant data and transmitting all payroll input to our external payroll vendors

Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records

Process advance, termination and other out-of-cycle payments

Independently coordinate and liaise with our internal stakeholders and/or external parties (as required)

Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications

Run, develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner

Manage relationships with country payroll partners to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements

What You’ll Bring

Experience in Payroll input preparation
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment
Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel
Norwegian and English language skills; both written and spoken
