Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Linear Sales Planner for a renowned entertainment company.
You'll join a fast-paced, collaborative sales planning team supporting top-tier media brands. You will work closely with sales, strategy, and operations to deliver seamless campaign execution, drive revenue, and provide best-in-class client support.
This is a full-time 6-month contract with potential to extend opportunity. The role is hybrid on site in New York City, NY.
Linear Sales Planner Responsibilities:
Manage the full RFP process from proposal creation through order entry and campaign setup.
Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management teams to apply effective pricing and packaging strategies.
Track and maintain pipeline accuracy in coordination with Sales and Sales Operations teams.
Handle budget updates, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellations efficiently.
Work cross-functionally with Ad Ops, Inventory Analytics, Measurement, and Streaming teams to address campaign and client needs.
Monitor campaign delivery and performance in partnership with Ad Ops and proactively flag issues.
Support the Finance team with billing and invoice reconciliation.
Serve as a key point of contact with agency partners, fulfilling RFP and client-specific requests.
Prepare pre-sale materials, such as account recaps, proposals, and vertical insights for client presentations.
Continuously identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Linear Sales Planner Requirements:
2+ years of experience in media planning, media buying, or sales planning (agency experience is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and problem-solve in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Working knowledge of media math and ad sales terminology.
Familiarity with Operative One and the linear TV/streaming media landscape is a strong plus.
