Manager - Financial Crime Risk

We’re on the hunt for a Manager – Financial Crime Risk to drive excellence in our quality assurance and control testing frameworks. You'll be responsible for delivering robust, data-driven assurance reviews and evolving our QA/Control Testing functions into a center of excellence.

This role will support continuous improvement of the AML/CTF Program and Procedures, including Change Risk Assessments, remediation initiatives, and alignment with legislative obligations. It will drive the development and uplift of Entain’s transaction monitoring program, while supporting innovation in KYC/ECDD data collection and workflow efficiency.

Your day-to-day... 

• Leading quality assurance and control testing efforts to ensure AML/CTF risks are effectively managed, and identify areas of non-compliance with clear recommendations for improvement.  

• Proactively identify, assess, and respond to emerging financial crime risks, trends, and typologies specific to gaming and online wagering.  

• Ensuring that ML/TF risks (and any new risks) are being properly identified, assessed and controlled. 

• Promoting a strong culture of compliance, mentor AML/CTF team members, and ensure understanding and adherence to AML/CTF obligations across the business. 

• Optimising understanding of the AML/CTF team amongst the broader business to leverage their support, by identifying additional training and communication opportunities 

• Sharing knowledge regarding relevant AML/CTF matters (internal and external) and responding to escalations from the team.  

You're a match if you have…. 

• Proven experience in financial crime risk management, ideally with a strong QA/assurance background. 

• Deep understanding of AML/CTF obligations as they apply to the gambling industry (highly desirable). 

• Sharp analytical mindset with a track record of driving process improvement and control uplift.  

• Proven experience in Project Management and Planning. 

• Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and committees.  

• A natural motivator and collaborator.
