Position Overview
Autodesk is in the midst of a significant back-office transformation, and we need a motivated individual to assist in this change for Revenue Accounting! As the Revenue Operations Manager for this project, you will collaborate closely with your manager, Revenue Accounting, the Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders in the Company. You will provide guidance to the project team, assist in UAT initiatives, and eventually roll out the exciting system and process changes to the entire Organization.

Responsibilities
Represent the Revenue Operations team in the full project life cycle, with a focus on U.S.GAAP and Revenue Recognition under ASC 606. This includes requirement gathering, system design, UAT, go-live, and hyper care support
Work closely with engineers and project teams to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented
Lead UAT efforts on behalf of Revenue Operations team. This includes UAT planning and scope, detail reviewing test files, and tracking resolution of issues discovered during UAT
Manage two senior analysts, who will directly report to this position
Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls
Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 606
Provide accounting guidance to project team and engineers
Support broader team in all communications, training efforts, and overall transition to the new business models and system flows
Develop and support process improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of relevant work experience
Based on SF Bay Area. Willing and able to come into the SF office at least 1x per week
Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to understand and present data
Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition
Proficiency in Excel and MS Powerpoint
Experience with system implementations or other UAT efforts
Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills
Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers
Preferred Qualifications
CPA certification or equivalent practical experience
Experience working with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems
Experience in software or SaaS industry
Experience with people management
