Job Description

The Manager, Scaled Technical Solutions, Mid-Market Sales leads a team providing consultative services and technical solutions to advertising customers using Search Ads 360, measurement, and shopping products. This role acts as the primary contact for product and Revenue Activation teams, managing processes and metrics to align with business strategy. Responsibilities include developing the team's strategic vision, collaborating with sales and product teams, creating new service offerings, and driving the scalability of technical solutions to maximize customer value. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution engineering, stakeholder management, team leadership, and coding, along with a deep understanding of the ad tech industry.

Must have:

Lead a team of Technical Solutions Consultants
Act as primary contact for product and Revenue Activation teams
Develop strategic vision and ensure alignment with customer needs
Develop new service offerings
Drive scalability of technical solutions
12+ years in solution engineering/architecture, 5+ years in stakeholder management
5+ years managing a technical team, 3+ years coding experience (Python, Java)

Good to have:

MBA or Master's degree
Experience in systems design, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
Effective project management, leadership, analytical skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture and 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
5 years of experience managing a technical team in a customer-facing role.
3 years of experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
Experience working with ad tech products and the online advertising industry.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field.
Experience in systems design or coding in a general purpose programming language and working with web technologies (i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP).
Effective project management, people and leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven proposals.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Technical Solutions Consultants who provide consultative services and technical solutions to advertising customers across Search Ads 360, measurement, and shopping products.
Act as primary point of contact for product and Revenue Activation teams within the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) organization to manage and communicate processes and metrics that enable business strategy.
Deliver the strategic vision for the organization, work with Sales teams, product leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with customer needs and coordinated execution for key priorities.
Develop new services offerings for the team as aligned with organizational goals of product and service activation organizations.
Drive scalability of technical solutions and execute towards the maximum value of our technical services to all customers.
