Games Workshop is looking for a highly organised marketing assistant with a knack for copywriting and editing to join our marketing team in Germany. As the Marketing and Editorial Assistant, you will assist the German Marketing Manager and work with the wider team to plan and develop impactful marketing campaigns while managing various supportive marketing tasks. Your proactive mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and keen attention to detail will enhance our team dynamic and help drive the success of our marketing initiatives.
You will be confident in managing various administrative tasks, such as document preparation, content coordination, digital asset management, ad booking, and liaising with influencers and marketing agencies. Success in this role relies on your ability to work autonomously and effectively manage multiple overlapping deadlines.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate developing skills and prior experience in copywriting. You will be responsible for updating our websites, ensuring the content management systems are well maintained, and occasionally preparing new content. You will work closely with both the German marketing team and the international Marketing Team which are based in the UK. This role is based remotely so you’ll need to adapt to overlapping hours, requiring a proactive and enthusiastic approach. Your strong communication skills will be essential for effective interaction with internal teams and external partners. To excel in this position, you should naturally embrace teamwork and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of the Warhammer hobby, our IP, and the tabletop games market is crucial. The successful person will be a native German speaker and will speak English at a professional level. Previous experience in paid advertising on Meta and Google platforms, along with familiarity with Monday.com software, would be beneficial.

Languages: Native speaking level of German with excellent written grammar. English is required to a proficient level.
Location: This is a home based role from Germany.
Travel: Occasional travel to the UK headquarters in Nottingham (approx. 4 times a year) and to various events in Germany or for local team meetings is required (approx. 4 times per year).
