We’re currently looking to hire a Marketing Manager for a leading energy provider based in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month hybrid opportunity where you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact through strategic marketing and creative collaboration.

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing annual marketing plans, translating product features into compelling customer benefits, and driving campaigns across multiple channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape content strategies, define target audiences, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in budget planning, ROI analysis, and overall campaign performance, bringing fresh insights and innovative marketing techniques to help achieve business goals.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of annual marketing plans to drive customer engagement and maximize ROI.
  • Manage and oversee multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize messaging, channels, and media for each campaign.
  • Strategize and manage creative development for campaigns across various platforms, including newsletters, websites, and social media.
  • Conduct research on content and consumer trends to ensure content relevance and appeal.
  • Refine targeting strategies to optimize customer engagement and campaign performance.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign metrics, optimizing for performance and providing insights for future strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on A/B testing to refine creative approaches and improve overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison across departments (regulatory, legal, communications, customer service) to ensure compliance and alignment on key communications.
  • Ensure high-quality standards and data protection compliance in all outbound marketing efforts.

Marketing Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to write compelling and engaging content across different platforms.
  • Desired: Experience in the utility industry, knowledge of utility tariffs, regulatory requirements, and familiarity with electric vehicle (EV) programs.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must last a minimum of 10 weeks.
