Job Description

This role involves providing support and enablement for the architecture, functionality, and compliance of SAP HANA Cloud solutions. Responsibilities include defining solutions with architects, implementing SAP HANA Cloud on BTP, performing strategic monitoring, delivering SME support to the BTP OPS team, managing the quality of SAP HANA Cloud setup, and working with best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAP/Node.js, various coding languages (e.g., Python), GIT-based HANA deployment pipelines, OData/REST services, and SAP HANA (2.0/Cloud), along with strong SQL, SAP SAC, and MS Power BI skills. Collaboration, problem-solving, and a proactive approach are essential.

Must have:

Excellent understanding of CAP / Node.js
Experience with developing using GIT based HANA automated deployment pipelines
Knowledge of OData / REST services
Understanding of SAP HANA (2.0 / Cloud), Data Modelling and writing procedures
Knowledge of SQL, SAP SAC, MS Power BI

Good to have:

Well-developed consultancy skills
Passionate about architecture, BTP and driving innovative solutions
Strong communication and presentation skills

Project description

As our client is growing rapidly, the SAP Platform ART is responsible for the architecture, governance and embedding of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
The SAP Business Technology Platform Team was founded in April 2020 and has been organized around defining the reference architecture, governance, ways of working (WoW) and ART enablement of Agile delivery / DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

Provide support to and enablement of the comprehensive architecture, functionality, economics, and architecture compliance of SAP HANA Cloud solution for our client's technology area.

Define solutions together with the architects at both an enterprise and project level. You will collaborate with various other members of the IT organization / ARTs.

You implement SAP HANA Cloud on BTP.

Perform strategic monitoring on SAP HANA Cloud, and deliver SME support towards the growing BTP OPS team.

Manage and drive quality of the SAP HANA Cloud set-up.

Work according to (an develop) best practices and architectural principles defined by the SAP BTP Team.

Share your skills / knowledge and help to improve the best practices and enable colleagues.

Dare to challenge, collaborate intensively and care for your work and your colleagues.

Skills

Must have

Excellent understanding of CAP / Node.js

Knowledge and skilled in various coding languages (e.g. Python)

Bachelor degree or higher
