Middle QA Engineer

Role

We are seeking a middle Quality Assurance Engineer with strong interpersonal skills that can work with our talented team of engineers, product teams and other QA engineers to develop and test world-class iGaming solutions.

You'll work closely across multi-functional development teams to help discover, recreate, and debug issues. You will also have the opportunity to contribute and grow our automation testing functionality and frameworks.

You will be incorporated into a front-end team, engaging in direct collaboration with the development staff accountable for the programming and maintenance of our clients' online casino websites.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and test plans
• Execute manual tests for new features, ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria
• Design, develop, refactor and execute automation scripts 
• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Work closely with devs, QAs, POs, and designers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong Testing background with an excellent understanding of the Test Lifecycle and Testing Best Practices 
• Experience with programming languages (JavaScript or Typescript ) is a must
• Experience with FE test automation, testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright  is a must
• Experience using POM, BDD and shadow DOM elements is a must
• Experience with cross-device and cross-browser testing
• Technical understanding of web/mobile technologies
• Experience in working within an agile environment
• Experience with Git versioning system (Bitbucket)
• Experience with CI/CD. (Jenkins) 
• Experience with Docker is desirable but not essential
• Experience with bug-tracking systems. (Jira)
• Self-motivated with a strong capability of fast learning
• Have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work on your own initiative
• Fluent spoken and written English 
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Bachelor's or Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, is valued
