Job Description

Haleon is seeking a results-oriented National Account Manager to lead their partnership with Coles, championing their consumer portfolio and delivering commercial success in a dynamic environment. The role involves developing and implementing strategic account plans, building strong relationships with Coles stakeholders, analyzing market trends, and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align and execute business objectives and negotiate commercial agreements.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow market share and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with Coles stakeholders.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and shape actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align and execute business objectives.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and promotional plans to maximise brand visibility and profitability in-store.
  • Monitor account performance, including forecasting, promotional ROI, and inventory management.
  • Deliver regular performance updates and market insights to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Must have Australian work rights.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow market share and achieve sales targets for Haleon’s consumer brands.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with Coles stakeholders, including buyers and category managers.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and shape actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align and execute business objectives.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and promotional plans to maximise brand visibility and profitability in-store.

About You.

You’re a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a passion for building impactful partnerships. As a key member of our sales team, you’ll drive growth while fostering trusted relationships with retail partners.

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager, ideally within FMCG/FMCH.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives.
