Summary

As a Network Gameplay Programmer at Techland, you'll develop and maintain multiplayer gameplay networking systems. Collaborate on solving game design challenges related to multiplayer, debug and optimize network systems for latency and bandwidth, and perform network traffic analysis. This role requires proficiency in C/C++, multithreaded programming, and experience with PC and console multiplayer game development. You'll work on their current projects and future AAA titles, contributing to the creation of unforgettable gaming experiences.

Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Develop and maintain systems related to networking and multiplayer gameplay 
  • Collaborate on solving various game design challenges as they relate to multiplayer gameplay 
  • Debug and optimise network systems for optimal latency and bandwidth utilisation 

Qualifications

You meet our expectations if you have:

  • An avid gamer with a passion for making games 
  • Excellent communication and team skills 
  • 3+ years of industry experience developing multiplayer games for PC and consoles 
  • Experience performing analysis and optimization of network traffic 
  • Experience with multithreaded programming 
  • Proficiency in C/C++ 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
