Job Titel: PR Manager

We are seeking a mid-level, dynamic and skilled PR Manager for our Marketing team to create and execute comprehensive PR strategies that enhance our brand reputation, engage our audience, and promote our groundbreaking work in the VFX and animation space.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to increase visibility for DNEG’s projects, initiatives, and corporate branding.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and journalists to maximize coverage of our projects and successes.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials to effectively convey DNEG's narrative.
  • Oversee the management of DNEG’s online presence, including media relations, company website, and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate and manage company events, press conferences, and promotional activities that showcase our work and expertise.
  • Actively monitor industry news and trends to identify opportunities for media engagement and storytelling.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and creative, to create cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Analyze PR metrics and media coverage to assess campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Serve as a media spokesperson and handle inquiries from journalists and media representatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the entertainment, film, or VFX industry.
  • Proven track record of successful media relations and PR campaign execution.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Familiarity with current trends and challenges in the VFX and animation industry.
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional VFX teams and manage multiple VFX projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
