Product Designer

We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Product Designer to join our News product. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of Aura’s content solution, working within a vibrant cross-functional team to improve the way millions of users consume their news daily. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our product, by creating intuitive, delightful, and impactful experiences that keep our audience informed and engaged.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Business stakeholders to plan and prioritize roadmap items, advocating for user-centric solutions and addressing complex user flows.
• Design and embellish impactful, intuitive, and visually appealing experiences that align with user needs and business goals.
• Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring the best implementation of high quality, pixel-perfect deliverables.
• Utilize data analytics and user feedback to iteratively refine, improve and enhance your designs.
• Impact strategic business opportunities by visualizing and enriching abstract concepts which showcase the product's value and potential.

What we're looking for

• Experienced product designer with a Bachelor degree in Visual Communication or the equivalent working experience in mobile design.
• Proven experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile design expertise and a keen eye for the smallest details.
• A team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
• Strong analytical skills, multitasking, problem solving and prioritizing ability. A critical thinker with a proactive approach, demonstrating the ability to push boundaries and oversee processes from start to finish.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, with experience in user testing and UX research.

You might also have

• Proficiency in After Effects and motion design.
