About the Global Payment team The Global Payment team offers a comprehensive Fintech platform for our customers. Our products encompass fundamental payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, risk management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), insurance, and more to ensure our users have a smooth and secure payment experience across ByteDance platforms. About User Experience Design (UED) Team We at Global Payment User Experience Design (UED) team are growing at a rapid pace and we are actively seeking out the best talents to join us on this adventure where your contributions will make a global impact for our global customers. We are looking for a talented mobile app or web-based product designers to provide the best payment service experience at ByteDance. You will have the opportunity to explore, conceptualize, communicate, collaborate, execute and ultimately improve the quality of our products. Our work supports key business units such as TikTok Shop, TikTok Creator, TikTok PayLater, and more. Responsibilities - Take the lead in crafting the user experience of globally-relevant and locally-optimised payment products from web-based platforms to consumer-facing mobile apps. - Engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams in customer centric design process and be highly involved in the entire product life-cycle from product planning, detail design to implementation - Be agile to iterate design and continuously refine the user experience to fulfil the unique needs of our diverse user base.

Minimum Qualifications - Candidate to submit a portfolio with prior work experience that demonstrates your ability to turn complex problems into simple solutions - Proven experience in UX design (usability research, journey maps, wireframing, prototyping) within the fintech/payment/agency environment. - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop or AI etc - Good communicator and ability to design and articulate your concepts in a clear, concise manner - Having a keen eye on design trends and cutting edge technologies - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) educational background Preferred Qualifications - At least more than 5 years of UX product designing experiences ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
