Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of product management experience in the data space, either in databases, programming languages or directly related technologies.
- Experience in software development or analogous technical roles, with modern software stacks, public cloud infrastructure, and software architecture concepts.
- Experience working across groups of internal stakeholders and partnerships, and driving alignment across major business units.
- Ability to create new ways to drive data insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with an appreciation of design, user experience, and cross-platform issues.

We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive-level engineering leadership in multiple product areas to identify needs and best practices, then build and bring to market innovative features and products that meet these needs and drive significant impact for Google.
- Possess a understanding of data-centric engineering, analytics and policy management, and working across teams to build integrated solutions based on Core Data’s product portfolio, simplifying data access and management for all Googlers.
- Partner with Engineering Leads to create Google's future data management goals, strategy, and product offers and collaborate with other products to have an impact on the construction of a database and storage toolbox.
- Collaborate with a variety of teams within Google to build infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across many disciplines, including engineering, user experience design, technical program management, and customer engagement, to ensure that users have the experience.
