Job Description

This Program Management, Talent Outreach Industry Specialist role at Google focuses on building and managing talent pipelines for Google's Business and Tech organizations. Responsibilities include executing go-to-market initiatives (networking sessions, preparation sessions), developing social media communications and employee advocacy programs, implementing niche engagement and outreach programs to attract passive candidates, building data-driven insights to measure program impact, and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, data analysis abilities, and excellent communication skills. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional and international teams to achieve Google's long-term hiring goals, focusing on attracting, engaging, and retaining diverse talent.
Must have:
  • 3+ years program/project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Data analysis & interpretation skills
  • Excellent communication (written & presentation)
  • Execute go-to-market talent initiatives
  • Build and manage talent pipelines
Good to have:
  • APAC recruiting experience
  • Experience with social media and employee advocacy programs
  • Experience with event planning and management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in APAC Recruiting.
  • Experience of project management, delivering results, extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret different data sets to decipher patterns and come up with actionable solutions.
  • Ability to be self-directed and motivated, with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent balance of creativity and drive, with problem-solving skills. Tolerates ambiguity and thrives in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent content development, articulation, written and presentation skills in English.

As a Programs specialist, you will represent Google brand and build talent pipeline for Google’s Business and Tech organizations. You will partner with the business to drive key programs and recruitment that enhance Google’s efforts to attract, engage and retain diverse talent.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a wide variety of go-to-market initiatives and programs (e.g.Networking sessions for leadership level talent, preparation session for early in career to mid-executive level talent, etc.) to build Google’s short and long term candidate pipeline.
  • Build social media comms for programs, promote Google employee advocacy programs, conduct exercises and research to build a social media presence for Google.
  • Implement and niche engagement and outreach programs to activate a potential passive pipeline.
  • Build data, reporting and insights to measure the impact of programs. Use analyses from past programs to develop recommendations for improvement and drive new initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with internal partners as well as external users and partners Event Programs, third party vendors, etc. to enable efficient execution of Industry programs.
