Job Description

As a Senior QA Engineer at Paytm, you will be responsible for assessing software quality through automation and manual testing. You will review and analyze system specifications, develop test plans, execute test cases, evaluate product code, create logs to document testing phases and defects, and report bugs and errors to development teams. You will also help troubleshoot issues, conduct post-release/post-implementation testing, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will need to have a strong understanding of agile software development life cycle and various testing processes, as well as experience with usability, functional, and regression testing. You will also need to have experience with JIRA defect tracking and knowledge of e-commerce systems.

Must have:

4+ years of QA experience
Experience with usability, functional, and regression testing
Understanding of agile software development life cycle and various testing processes
Good understanding of API based testing and Mobile Apps testing
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Experience with JIRA defect tracking
Knowledge of E-commerce system
Hands on experience in programming

Good to have:

Prior experience in game testing for Poker, Rummy, Callbreak, Fantasy sports

We are looking for a Sr. QA Engineer to assess software quality through automation & manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you! Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Job Description:

* Review and analyze system specifications

* Develop effective strategies and test plans

* Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

* Evaluate product code according to specifications

* Create logs to document testing phases and defects

* Report bugs and errors to development teams

* Help troubleshoot issuesConduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

* Work with cross-functional teams(Product/dev/QA) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Have a testing mindset with a passion for quality

* Take ownership of features and enhancements from discovery to closure

* Provide Test Summary and Test Exit Reports Test case creation and management along with test data preparation for testing

Qualifications:

* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

* 4+ years of strong, demonstrable experience creating and designing tests

* Experience with usability, functional, and regression testing

* Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role

* Understanding of agile software development life cycle and various testing processes

* Good understanding of API based testing and Mobile Apps testing

* Excellent communication and reporting skills

* Experience with JIRA defect tracking

* Knowledge of E-commerce system

* Hands on experience in programming Good analysis and troubleshooting skills

* Prior experience in game testing for Poker, Rummy, Callbreak, Fantasy sports is a plus.
