What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits. Implementation of gen. ledger processes including yearend closing, journalizing. Creating and maintaining ledgers, ledger currencies, budgets, and journal entries, design to deliver a financial management solution including a flexible accounting structure, comprehensive journal processing, hierarchical summaries, intuitive inquiry and reporting as well as dynamic allocations and the management of commitments and expenditures also run Interface reports and perform close books of accounts.
What are we looking for? 1. General Accounting: Journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Independent ownership of month-end close. BlackLine/Hyperion preferred Compliance with closing checklists. 2. Reconciliation Expertise: Bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations. Identifying and resolving open items/discrepancies. 3. Audit and Compliance: Handling internal and external audits. SOX controls and documentation. 4. Communication Skills: Clear articulation of financial concepts to stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams like procurement, accounts payable, and IT. 5. Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Driving KPIs and SLAs to meet client objectives. 6. Process Imporvements & Automation Identifying inefficiencies and proposing automation or process improvements. Familiarity with automation tools like Alteryx, UiPath, or Power Automate. 7. Team Mamangement Team Leadership: Experience in managing diverse teams, mentoring, and performance management. Good to have skills Knowledge of Retail industries Analytical Thinking Attention to Details Problem solving approach ERP/ any certification requird Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., BlackLine, Hyperion, Tableau). Advanced Excel: Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting.
