The opportunity
At Unity, our Ads Business Intelligence team plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, identifying new business growth opportunities, and developing impactful analytics tools. We operate a full-spectrum ad ecosystem, including multiple ad networks and a mediation platform - a dynamic and fast-paced marketplace environment.
As a new Senior Manager within the Network Insights BI group, you’ll report to the Director and lead our Network Analytics BI team. Your focus will be on turning marketplace data into actionable insights and strategies that empower both advertisers and publishers to succeed.
You’ll play a key role in aligning Unity Ads’ strategy with a focused BI roadmap that drives measurable business results, while collaborating closely with cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, data science, revenue, and finance. You’ll tackle complex performance issues through deep-dive analysis, design analytics tools to monitor network health and identify new opportunities to improve performance across the ad ecosystem.
If you’re excited by the idea of shaping data strategy and leading a talented global team, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact at Unity.
What you'll be doing
- Define a scalable foundation and own implementation of frameworks and standards for analytics focused on network health and marketplace analytics.
- Grow your team and develop them to achieve their potential. You will be responsible for a global BI team whose core focus includes deep-dive ad network (ad-hoc) analyses, statistical modeling, and building tools and reporting.

- Be a subject matter expert and guide senior level (up to SVP) decision-making across ads product portfolio on topics such as product roadmap planning, financial forecasting, and business policies to support Unity Ads strategy.
- Partner with BI leadership across functional areas – Ads Machine Learning, Advertiser, Publisher Experience, and Unity LevelPlay Mediation – to connect the dots between network performance and product changes across areas.
What we're looking for
- A track record defining and realising BI strategies focused to deliver business outcomes through analytics, such as business growth, cost reduction or risk mitigation.
- A solid experience in leading medium-sized BI and analytics teams. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members to perform at their full potential.
- Strong skills at engaging and influencing stakeholders and building buy-in across functions and levels.
- Strong bias for action. Curiosity, proactiveness, and ability to decompose ambiguous problems into analytical problems.
- Expertise in statistical analysis, including experimentation and hypothesis testing using statistical software packages in Python, R, or equivalent.
- Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Periscope, or similar. Proficiency with SQL on large data in cloud environments (e.g. BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
