Job Description

As a Recruiting Specialist at Google, you'll be responsible for finding and guiding candidates through the hiring process. You'll build relationships with candidates and hiring managers, leveraging data and analytics to improve hiring efficiency. Responsibilities include supporting assessments, evaluating skills, managing the interview process, partnering with stakeholders to achieve DEI objectives, managing headcount, and executing targeted recruiting initiatives. You'll need strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. The role requires 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in an agency or in-house setting, with experience negotiating compensation packages and competing for talent. Experience in the Canadian market is preferred. Individuals applying for this position will not be eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, business development, business operations or account management.
  • 2 years of recruiting experience at an agency or in-house recruiting team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of full cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting.
  • 3 years of experience in negotiating complex compensation packages, and leveraging experience competing for talent.
  • Experience solving problems and delivering significant impact as a contributor.
  • Ability to grow customer relationship management, provide consultative skills, and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, accountability, work ethic, integrity, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative and build productive relationships.
  • Experience in Canada market.

Responsibilities

  • Support assessments for potential roles and identify team alignment based on understanding of the organization/function and role profiles.
  • Evaluate skills and client needs, screening them for interviews and managing the interview process with minimal guidance.
  • Partner with key business, staffing and hiring stakeholders to build solutions to multiple defined Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) objectives.
  • Manage headcount for cross-project client groups to support accurate tracking and influence headcount allocation, ensure accurate mapping of job postings to open headcount, identify trends/insights to influence hiring strategy and priorities, assist clients with prioritization of requisitions, reconciliation of headcount, and optimum distribution with minimal guidance.
  • Develop and execute cross-functional targeted recruiting initiatives to meet established goals and objectives, influence hiring managers on their hiring strategy.
