What is INMAP OCR
• optical character recognition software which extracts data from scanned documents that DB receives from its customers(opening/closing bank accounts, loans etc)
• We are using a tool called SmartFIX provided by a german vendor, Insiders Technologies.
• SmartFIX is using a proprietary programming language called SPL. We also frequently use Powershell, cmd line, SQL, networking etc. We have a new project using Google docAI solutions.
• Volumes: 8 million pages processed per month
• We are working in an international team, with people based both in Germany and Romania. We have an L2 support team based in India.
• We have development and testing team and also BUS operators based in Germany and we also an AM team and another developer in Bucharest.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues

Collaborate with Development team as needed to provide solutions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and maintain the application infrastructure, including policy configuration, profile deployment, software distribution and certificate installation

Provide Root Cause Analysis when requested

Monitor application health, security compliance, and performance, taking proactive measures to address any issues that arise

Deliver new and improved capabilities in systems monitoring, recovery and stability aspects of the system.

Assist in the setup and configuration of new platform infrastructure

Respond to and resolve escalated technical issues related to the application

Create and maintain documentation related to best practices and troubleshooting guides

Perform Application and DB script deployment

Other support-related activities

Skills

Must have

Strong technical background with excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills

Minimum 3 yrs or more of Technical / Application Support experience

Strong service oriented experience / background

Experience in IT Service Operations

Experience with SQL Server mandatory

Experience with Windows Powershell mandatory

Networking knowledge

Familiar with Incident Management processes and tools

Familiar with Agile methodology

Nice to have: ITIL v3/v4 certification

Soft Skills:

Good communication skills

Ability to function as part of an international team with different locations

Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment

Languages:

English is mandatory(medium-advanced level)
