We’re seeking a Release Manager to help bring our upcoming launches to life. In this role, you’ll be at the center of the action, driving certification and publishing roadmaps to ensure every milestone is achieved. What will be your responsibilities?
Carry out the actual submissions (masters, patches, content) on first party platforms;
Work with production teams, product owners, business and marketing teams (i.e storefront specialists) to create, track and maintain release plans/schedules and execute proper setups on the platforms;
Communication of progress and monitoring of risks associated with the certification and release preparation process;
Reporting of errors detected during the certification phase;
Organization of Age Ratings;
Act as the bridge between the development teams and First Party partners (Steam, Xbox, Playstation etc.) and drive the release forward;
Ongoing contact with platforms support to resolve any problems that arise, including mediating communication between project developers, porting vendors and technical people on the platform side.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
3+ years of experience in game development;
At least 2 years of experience with Release Management;
Familiar with first party dev portals, documentation and processes (Steam, EGS, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo etc);
Base knowledge of JIRA
Proven knowledge of working within roadmap and gannt charts
Good “helicopter view” over the Publishing processes and dependencies
