Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) segment of The Walt Disney Company. CIMA influences data-driven and consumer-centric decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.
As a Sales Channel Planning & Analytics Analyst with Sales Analytics & Insights (SAI) in CIMA, you will enable insight and analysis related to Disney Vacation Club. You will help internal stakeholders by providing analysis and clear and actionable insights. A successful candidate will leverage data sources to develop reporting, improve processes, collaborate with partners, conduct analyses, and communicate insights.
This role reports to a Senior Manager within Sales Analytics and Insights.
You’ll join a fast-paced team of professionals that enable data-driven capabilities and sales performance analytics for the Disney Destinations Sales Solutions organization.
In this role, you will monitor and assess business performance of global Disney Vacation Club Sales Centers. You will leverage various reporting technologies using both internal and external data.
Each day the role of a Sales Channel Planning & Analytics Analyst is robust and evolving! Day to day responsibilities might include:
Review and evaluate sales performance against established goals
Develop new efficiencies and processes for extracting and integrating big data sets
Develop an understanding of different internal and external sales-related systems for consulting with internal clients
Provide data and insights for meetings, presentations, and ad hoc requests
Support multiple short- and long-term projects simultaneously under changing and challenging constraints
Foster relationships with internal departments and project stakeholders
Exhibit curiosity to uncover new data sources to inform business needs
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based, insights and recommendations
Demonstrated ability to leverage data integration software skills, including spreadsheets and database software
Proven experience working with Tableau and other reporting and data mining tools (e.g., SAS, Teradata SQL, Business Objects, etc.)
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to partner with others and deal effectively with multiple projects and changing priorities
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts experience
Team collaboration and experience working cross-functionally across different teams
Data and/or Business analytics experience
Travel industry experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with concentration in Business, Data Analysis, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Finance or similar discipline
Master’s degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in Business Administration, Data Mining & Analysis, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Finance or similar discipline
This position will be located in Celebration, FL.
This is a Full-Time position.
