Job Description
As an SAP ABAP Associate Managing Consultant at invenioLSI, you will be responsible for ABAP 7.5 coding, RICEFW development using ABAP on HANA, handling support tickets, and developing using integration techniques like REST API, ABAP Proxy, and RFC. You will interact with functional and technical teams, work independently on complex developments, and guide junior team members. Your expertise will include debugging Fiori, BRF+, and ABAP custom code, resolving performance issues, and leveraging standard enhancements (user exits, BTEs, BADIs, Enhancement Spots). Experience with data migration tools (LSMW, BDC, BAPIs) and strong ABAP troubleshooting skills are essential. The role requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices. You will mentor associate consultants and contribute to team effectiveness.
Must have:
- ABAP 7.5 coding & RICEFW Development
- REST API, ABAP Proxy, RFC integration
- S/4HANA ABAP implementation experience
- Troubleshooting & debugging ABAP code
- Data migration using LSMW, BDC, BAPIs
Good to have:

Role - SAP ABAP Associate Managing Consultant
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- ABAP 7.5 coding and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
- Handle support tickets.
- Development using integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC.
- Interact with function and technical team to understand the requirements and propose solution & Deliver objects.
- Should be able to work independently on complex developments.
- Guide the junior team members to deliver quality and timely developments.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot Fiori applications, BRF+ applications, ABAP custom code and finding performance issues at various levels and fixing them.
SAP Skills
- 7-9 years of experience in one or more SAP modules.
- 2 implementation experiences on S4H ABAP.
- Experience with ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
- Understands SAP Activate Methodology.
- Understands integration between modules.
- Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development.
- Must be highly proficient with OData debugging and locating the issue.
- Understands Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP API’s.
- Experience with integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC & XML, and integration of software solutions within company environments and external landscapes.
- Proficient on ABAP on HANA, AMDP & CDS views.
- Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework –user exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
- Good knowledge in developing Data migration programs and using related tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPI's and SAP Function Module including RFC Function Module.
- Strong experience in ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Understands functional and technical specifications in detail.
- Add-on skills like Webdynpro, Workflow, and Module Pool Programming is a plus.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Understand business processes for focus area or module.
- Research and perform detailed tasks.

- Understand business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify and understand touch points between modules.
- Understand how to solve detailed SAP problems.
- Understand and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.
