Job Description
Trendyol seeks a Security Engineer for Identity and Access Management (IAM). Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing IAM solutions and architectures; enforcing IAM policies and best practices; managing IAM technologies (user provisioning, authentication, authorization); collaborating with teams to assess risks and vulnerabilities; integrating IAM solutions into existing systems; troubleshooting and debugging; developing custom connectors; providing technical support; and staying current with IAM technologies. The ideal candidate possesses experience in IAM solution design and architecture, understanding of IAM concepts (RBAC, SOD), proficiency in scripting languages (Java, PowerShell, Python), and experience with IAM principles (SAML, OAuth2, JWT, LDAP).
Must have:

ABOUT THE TEAM

Your Main Responsibilities
- Design, development, and implementation of IDM solutions, architectures, and frameworks.
- Develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
- Design, deploy, and manage IAM technologies, including user provisioning, authentication, authorization, access control, policy violation rules, segregation of duties, external and internal federation and role-based access management systems.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify and assess IAM related risks and vulnerabilities, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with system administrators and application owners to integrate IAM solutions into existing systems and applications.
- Configure and customize workflows, provisioning policies, rules, and scripts within IDM solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand IAM requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging for existing IDM implementations.
- Develop and maintain custom connectors for integrating non-standard systems.
- Provide technical support and documentation for IAM-related projects and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging IAM technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's IAM capabilities.
Qualities We Are Looking For
- Experience in development and implementation, design and architecture of the IDM solutions.
- Solid understanding of IAM concepts (e.g., user provisioning, RBAC, SOD).Experience with IAM principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., SAML, OAuth2, JWT, Ldap, OpenID Connect, Kerberos).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, PowerShell, JavaScript,Python) for automation and integration purposes.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, RESTful services, and system integration techniques.
- Strong knowledge of web access management, digital signatures , certificates management , and session management (e.g. understanding the concepts of cookies, sessions, header / cookie variables)
- Knowledge of IAM integration in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., KVKK, GDPR, SOX) and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex IAM issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.
We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and August.
The hybrid working model only applies to hybrid roles; on-site roles require regular office presence.
