Join us in an exciting role as the Senior Executive Assistant, supporting the EVP, Chief Product Officer – Ocean, in shaping the future of global shipping. This is a great opportunity to provide essential, high-impact support by managing administrative tasks, serving as a trusted ambassador, and driving efficiencies in line with strategic priorities.

You will play a pivotal role in advancing Maersk’s mission, working closely with the CPO and leadership team across projects that directly influence our people and customer experiences.

Beyond the day-to-day, this role offers significant opportunities for personal and professional growth through continuous learning and development. By actively engaging in a range of topics and projects, you will have the unique chance to make a tangible impact on the organization’s success and legacy in the global shipping landscape.

What are we looking for

  • Quickly understand and simplify problems, working across teams to identify solutions and resolve them efficiently

  • Seamlessly manage and coordinate the CPO’s calendar, travel, and meetings preparation by maintaining the constant changes with discretion and a positive and welcoming attitude

  • Create and own operating standards and best practices for the leadership team

  • Become a trusted partner, facilitating alignment and implementation of strategic priorities for the business and its people

  • Be a key bridge, conveying and ensuring successful communication and implementation of critical organizational and operational decisions for important initiatives / key deliverables

  • Demonstrate strong desire to learn and grow understanding of the Ocean business scope and drive projects on behalf of the leader

  • Sparring partner to and active member of Ocean and wider executive assistant teams, leading high performing teams and engagement initiatives together

We are looking for someone

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate the needs of the leader and team by being two steps ahead and providing solutions that will ease the leader’s day-to-day

  • Ability to independently drive and lead projects and communication on behalf of the leader with internal and external stakeholders

  • You are at ease in managing multiple and changing priorities and stakeholders, and can keep a good overview even during busy periods

  • Have a strong sense of urgency and drive to deliver quality in your work while creating a fun and engaging atmosphere in the team and department

  • Solid project management skills, and flexibility in your way of working – and not afraid of sharing your opinion and being a challenging partner to your stakeholders

  • Strong judgment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the trustworthiness to be a true confidant and support to the CPO and team
