Barbaricum is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Motion Video Project Manager  for the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA ARCHES) Program. The Senior Full Motion Video Project Manager is a critical role within the NGA ARCHES Program, this role serves as a technical project manager and functional subject matter expert between the government and contracts being executed to coordinate communication, assure interoperability between contracts and systems, manage data proliferation, action data acquisition, and implement new practices and technology to support model vendors.

Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with prime integrator to collect operational data as dictated by the products team and Full Motion Video (FMV) team.
    • Support the preprocessing of data through sanitization process insuring all guidelines and policies are strictly followed for data governance.
    • Update labeling ontology with the Data team and periodically review the labeling guidance that the labeling vendor will adhere to.
    • Assist the PMO Data lead when attending vendor meetings and provide updates on new labeling practices to vendors, answer vendor questions in an even and unbiased manner as directed by the PMO Data Lead.
    • Work with academia and recommend, and integrate as approved by the COR, new and innovative ideas into the labeling pipeline to reduce labeler bias, increase labeling efficiency, or reduce storage and compute.
    • Review data and metadata to recommend, and create as approved by the COR, new methods of cleaning, organizing, filtering, incorporating metadata attributes.
    • Communicate requirements with FMV team to get access to hard to find data and update fielding requirements.
    • Attend conferences/ symposiums and have a general understanding of the program to disseminate information and update senior leaders.
    • Support updates to leadership and senior leaders on changes to the labeling pipeline, new projects for augmenting data, and any other task of note.

Qualifications

    • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field such as GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
    • Specialized FMV/PED experience in the IC or DOD.
    • Experience leading or working with product focused cross-functional teams and/or programs.
    • Experience advising stakeholders concerning sensitive or complex issues or problems, explaining the short-term and strategic consequences and risks, and recommending solutions that consider the broader organizational context.
    • Demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity and building coalitions across organizations and departments.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate challenging technical concepts to both lay and expert audiences.
