Netflix seeks an experienced HR Project Manager to execute the Tech HR team's deliverables, building and scaling people programs and infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with the HR Business Partner team to drive initiatives attracting, engaging, and retaining talent. Key responsibilities include project management for critical deliverables (e.g., compensation cycle, employee sentiment surveys), partnering with talent teams to ensure smooth HR processes (compensation planning, 360 feedback), leveraging data to drive HR agendas, providing data analysis support, and cross-functional project support with recruiting, talent management, and HRBPs. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management, communication, data analytics, and problem-solving skills, thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

The Role: 

We are looking for an experienced HR Project Manager to play a key role in executing the Tech HR team’s deliverables to build and scale people programs and infrastructure.  This role will work closely with the HR Business Partner team to drive specific HR programs/initiatives that attract, engage, and retain talent. 

Key Responsibilities:

HR Project Management: 

  • Project Management: Participate in, and lead where appropriate, strategic cross-functional projects for critical deliverables. Examples may include preparing for the annual compensation cycle and driving our approach toward sharing Employee Sentiment Survey results   

  • HR Operations: Partner with broader talent teams to ensure the smooth execution and operation of key Netflix HR processes (e.g., compensation planning, 360 feedback, sentiment survey), and specific talent practices.  

  • HR Metrics:   Leverage and analyze people and organizational data to drive HR agenda and recommendations.  Provide data analysis support to HR Partners as needed   

  • Cross-functional Logistics: Provide project support and track key programs in partnership with other teams such as recruiting, talent management, and HRBPs. 

We seek an individual who:

  • Demonstrates curiosity to gather business acumen and culture, learns rapidly and eagerly, and seeks to understand patterns and connections through strong partnerships with key stakeholders

  • Possesses program management skills including planning work, prioritizing and managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, time management, and delivering results with tight deadlines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive and effective communication plan for project rollout across the organization.  

  • Has the ability to adjust their style for various audiences to articulate complex issues clearly and succinctly. 

  • Has strong data analytics skills.  

  • Has proven ability to think and move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and make difficult tradeoffs to meet deadlines, especially in fast-paced ambiguous environments.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, business or related fields 

  • 5+ years overall experience, 3 years of experience in organizing, managing, and executing complex projects in various HR fields (organizational design, workforce planning, talent metrics) 

  • Strong business acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, high judgment, critical thinking, and analysis.

  • Proven expertise in using data to tell stories and drive decision-making.

  • Drives recommendations and prioritization 

  • Preferred: Experience in a complex, matrixed, global organization

  • Preferred: Experience working as a management consultant 

This is a hybrid role based in our Los Gatos office.  

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000 - $280,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
