Job Description
Amber is seeking a Senior Game Designer to contribute to a world-class PC/console game. Responsibilities include designing game mechanics, meta-game systems, and content; collaborating with artists and programmers; using research and playtests to refine designs; mentoring junior designers; and pitching new feature ideas. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of experience designing action and party gameplay for PC and console platforms, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Experience with the mobile market is a plus.

The Quest:
- Play a senior design role on a team working on a world class PC/console game
- Design game mechanics, meta-game systems, game content, and more
- Work closely with artists and programmers to turn your design ideas into reality
- Use audience research, playtests, and metrics to make decisions and refine your team's work
- Champion the discipline of game design by haring knowledge and mentoring
- Pitch creative ideas for new features and upcoming projects
The Skills:
- Demonstrated passion for mass-market PC and console games
- 7+ years of experience as a game designer, or equivalent background
- Proven experience designing and tuning action and party gameplay
- Experience designing games for PC and console platforms, knowledge of mobile market is a plus
- Proficient English with outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and hit deadlines in a fast-paced and creative environment
