Job Summary
Job Description
The Senior Gameplay Programmer will be responsible for programming systems and tools within Unreal Engine, ensuring they meet performance, modularity, and scalability requirements. They will work closely with designers to create various gameplay systems, collaborate with the Technical Director and other programmers to deliver high-quality tools and systems, and serve as a point of contact for all technical issues related to Unreal Engine and its tools. Furthermore, they will suggest and implement new systems to improve the game. The ideal candidate will be a passionate game developer with a strong focus on creating engaging experiences for players and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Must have:
- 4+ years of professional game development experience
- Experience with Unreal Engine
- Authorized to work in the United States

Job Details
Responsibilities
- Programming systems and tools within Unreal in line with performance, modularity and scalability requirements
- Work with designers to create a variety of gameplay systems in Unreal
- Collaborate with the Technical Director and other programmers to deliver high quality tools and systems
- Be a point of contact for all technical issues related to Unreal Engine and its tools
- Suggest and drive improvements to the game by creating and implementing new systems
Qualification Requirements
- 4+ years of professional game development experience
- A love of collaboration and fun
- A passion for crafting gameplay and fun experiences for players
- An ability to foster a positive work environment that encourages open and interdepartmental collaboration
- Unreal Engine experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to relocate and work on-site in Irvine, California
