Altagram is seeking a Senior Localization Project Manager to join their team and support a leading AAA game client. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end localization process for game projects, including text, audio, and LQA. You will coordinate daily operations, ensure high quality and timely delivery across multiple languages, and serve as the main point of contact for clients. Responsibilities include leading project meetings, managing budgets and timelines, overseeing linguist assignments, monitoring quality, and collaborating with internal teams like Language Leads, LQA, Audio, and Engineering. You will also shape and optimize processes to support client growth and ambitious projects.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of localization project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of video game industry.
  • Deep knowledge of full-cycle localization (text, audio, testing).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive mindset and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard localization tools (e.g., memoQ).
  • Understanding of internationalization and globalization principles.
Good to have:
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills.
  • Additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Turkish) are a plus.
  • Experience with AAA game studios or localization agencies.
  • Experience leading client calls and managing relationships.
  • Experience handling feedback effectively in client-facing interactions.

Do you love games and know how to guide localization projects from start to finish? Perfect, we are looking for a Senior Localization Project Manager to join our growing team, supporting a leading AAA game client. 

In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex localization workflows, manage client communications, and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality localized content across languages and platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, shaping processes and maintaining strong client relationships. YOUR ROLE

  • Manage the end-to-end localization process for assigned game projects (text, audio, LQA).
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure high quality and timely delivery across multiple languages.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling feedback, updates, and project requirements with clarity and confidence.
  • Lead kick-off, status, and post-mortem meetings to improve workflows and collaboration.
  • Manage and plan project budgets, timelines, and reporting from purchase orders to financial documentation.
  • Oversee assignments for internal and external linguists, ensuring consistency and alignment on tone, terminology, and style.
  • Monitor output quality and developing strategies to maintain and improve localization standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Language Leads, LQA, Audio, and Engineering teams.
  • Support business development by maintaining strong client relationships and representing Altagram in meetings.
  • Shape and optimize processes to scale with the growing client base and ambitious projects.
Your profile
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills are essential, and additional languages like French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, or Turkish are a plus.
  • At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in localization project management, bringing a strong understanding of the video game industry.
  • A deep knowledge of full-cycle localization, including text, audio, and testing, is crucial for this role.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and multitasking skills will allow you to excel in this position.
  • A proactive mindset paired with a knack for creative problem-solving sets you apart.
  • Leading calls, managing relationships, and effectively handling feedback are among your strengths in client-facing interactions.
  • Previous experience working with AAA game studios or within a localization agency environment is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software, file formats, and localization tools (e.g., memoQ) is expected.
  • A solid understanding of internationalization and globalization principles is essential for success in this role.
