Job Details

The Senior Manager of Talent Management is a key job for TelevisaUnivision. This job involves planning and running programs that help workers learn new skills, move up in their careers, and get ready to be leaders. Integral to this function is the oversight of a comprehensive performance management framework, which includes setting performance benchmarks, conducting regular evaluations, and facilitating constructive feedback mechanisms. This role focuses on enhancing workforce competency in support of TelevisaUnivision’ s performance, in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Your day-day:

  • Develop and refine the performance management process to ensure it is simple, transparent, and aligns with our organizational goals. This includes setting clear performance metrics, facilitating regular feedback loops and check-ins, and implementing development plans.
  • Drive initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale. Conduct regular surveys and focus groups to gather employee feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement targeted strategies to increase engagement and reduce turnover.
  • Lead the development of robust leadership development programs to prepare current and future leaders for the challenges of a dynamic media business environment. This includes creating leadership tracks, mentoring opportunities, assessments, and leadership workshops.
  • Implement a systematic approach to identifying and developing HiPo employees, ensuring a talent pipeline that supports business continuity. Develop criteria for HiPo identification, create development programs tailored to their needs, and track their progress and impact.
  • Embed diversity and inclusion within talent management practices to foster an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued and can thrive.
  • Leverage data analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent management practices, making informed decisions to enhance ROI and improve overall workforce performance.
  • Maintain efforts focused on early career professionals, including internship and recent graduate programs. Design developmental paths that support career growth, enhance skills, and maintain high levels of retention.
  • Refine a comprehensive onboarding program that addresses the critical "moments that matter" throughout the new hire journey. Ensure the program is engaging, culturally reflective, and facilitates a smooth transition into the company.

You have:

  • BS in Human Resources Management or similar field BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7 years of HR and Talent Management managing end-to-end processes.
  • Digital and data literacy.  Understanding of analytics; able to identify and track relevant metrics and KPIs
  • Gravitas and strong command skills to deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Ability to develop and manage learning content
