Team and Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our Paris-based quality assurance team. The position is responsible for the Quality Assurance of Compliance and Limits in Calypso Trading Solution.

The position requires someone with a strong motivation and desire to work in an exciting environment. An understanding of the release and software development lifecycle would be helpful. Our QA team maintains the integrity & reliability of the Compliance/Limits/Market Conformity solution by working closely with the Product Management and Engineering groups.
Responsibilities:
Assure the quality and persistence of the software by understanding the BRD/FSD and crafting test cases to capture bugs within the system. Execution of test cases and testing the corrections of bugs and improvements
Work in close collaboration with both our Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure the inclusion of improvements requested by clients in the software and ensure delivery.
Design, development, & execution of manual and automated test solutions
Analysis of automated test results and failures
Detailing test cases and maintaining the test library
ETL: Creation, upgrade, and maintenance of test environments and test data
Skills & Requirements:
Engineering graduate or full-time MBA in finance from a reputed institute
1 to proven ability in the Financial Market preferably in Compliance, Regulations, Market risk
Understanding of SQL scripts
Ability to read sophisticated BRD, and FSD documents and design test cases
Ability to do sophisticated setups and configuration and complete test cases
Strong ability to work independently in a techno-functional environment
Experience with phases of the SDLC
Very good analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Understanding of Java/ OOPs concepts, troubleshooting skills (analyzing logs, etc)
Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, standout colleague, and collaborator
Hands-on experience with Xray or QualityCenter will be an advantage
Hands-on experience with cucumber/ cypress or any other automation framework will be an advantage
